I thought that was only true if they claim him off waivers.it's the same either way. Just take what his new suitors pays him and subtract that from the total he is owed by Miami, unless of course someone makes an offers that exceeds his original amnestied salary which is unlikely.at Miller going from being interested in signing with Memphis or OKC to OKC just being the front runners. If all OKC can offer the minimum and he signs there, Memphis front office is being really cheap. Miller has ties to Memphis from his wife working at St. Jude, him still owning a home here and playing for the Grizz thru 03-08. Something would have to be going on
Either OKC, LAC, or MEM would be the best fits.
If he clears waivers like he has, then he gets the new contract plus the Miami contract
