If you judge a players value based on 4 injured plagued games, then you are an idiot.

hell he is..... he maybe right there with Jeff Teague...who I still say is better, Mario Chalmers...who has came up big and proven himself in playoffs finals...and maybe Brandon Jennings, and ill just for lol throw in Jameer Nelson. ... Other then that pretty much every starting pg is better then him. Which would still make him top 5 worst starting pgs.. Def in the top of worst pgs in his conference easily and its not even close.Jeremy Lin put up 13 and 6 without the ball in his hands and is somehow bottom 5
Wot
He's a league avg point gaurd, playing out of position 50% of the time.
is it an overpay? Sure. He's 24 years old, it's still a tradeble asset.
All fair, but I would also like to add that he shot a very respectable 37% from three after New Years, the Rockets were better defensively with him on the floor than off last season (granted this isn't saying much as the team was pretty awful outside of Asik) and was playing next to Harden who negates his playmaking responsibilities.Jeremy Lin put up 13 and 6 last season. I have seen much worse players, getting much more money.
Dude earned that payday, and he happily accepted. I dont have a problem with it.
Ain't mad at the homie at all, loved Linsanity and the excitement it brought to NYC/The Knicks but I just don't think he's worth that. Is he really going to be the pg of a championship winning team? He's average at everything, they could atleast use a pg who can shoot it from deep, play defense or is a great facilitator
Listen to yourself. You just predicted that Felton "is only gonna get worse" while Lin "is likely to improve." Try to not let your bias cloud your judgement next time.
Your only valid point is that we let him go for nothing. Just like we let go of Fields for nothing (probably not even worth a 2nd rounder). Great, nothing we can do about that now.
Nt can go waaaaaaaaaay on the deep end on some players...but cats have gave props just in the last few pages to mike miller, conley, scola, jeff green, Drummond a whole litany of players who are faaaaaaaaaaar from superstar status. Its just dude really isn't any good. Name 5 starting pgs he is better then? Hell ill just limited to the western conference. Name any team he could go to and be a significant upgrade to their pg position?But....Miller said one of the reasons why...nvm
BTW, Lin does not suck
It seems like you're either a superstar or a bum when it comes to NT.
Less of an idiot than judging a player's career off a magical Super Mario mushroom month? Once that **** ran out, he was extra regular, turnover prone, predictable on offense, cant shoot, can't defend. That is his career up to this point; also likes to refuse to play in the playoffs as much as possible so as not to expose himself. His own coach didn't even trust him over Toney Douglas in 4th quarters
Those criticisms were valid in 107 regular season games, minus a stretch of maybe 5 weeks.Less of an idiot than judging a player's career off a magical Super Mario mushroom month? So judging a player of of 4 playoff games or 107 regular season games.
imma take the 107, thanks.

how many point guards do you know start getting better after they turn 30?
Feilds is not an asset, he played like dog****, for the knicks and he played like dog **** for the raptors, its not comparable.
How is that not true considering their respective ages? You just predicted that Felton "is only gonna get worse" while Lin "is likely to improve."
Says the Knick fan.Try to not let your bias cloud your judgement next time.
Jeremy Lin put up a league average PER, while playing out of position half the time, his contract only has 2 years left, and then it becomes a 8 mil expiring contract.
Its not some horrific overpay cap crunching overpay, he didn't rob anyone.
Y'all need to chill.
4yrs/15 mill for Felton is actually a very good contract or us
Felton > Lin
Idiotic.
You gave up an asset for NOTHING.
It's dumb, period.
Bet you could pick up a mid to late first round pick for Lin next year when he's an 8 mil expiring, or you can package him in a trade for someone better, you can't do that with Felton who you will be paying at ages 29, 30, 31, who has a history of weight/conditioning problems and he's only going to get worse.
vs Jermey lin at 24, 25, 26, who is likely to improve and is tradable.
Or you just have Knicks blinders on like always. The ppl going hard at Lin aren't usually Knicks fans, I have no idea why you think it's a legion of new Yorkers crapping on Lin. It really isn't. He has been getting hated on by a variety of fans
