Man, I just don't know about the core after Kyrie.
Bynum... boom or bust. More likely bust. And if it's a boom you know he'll use Cleveland as a stepping stone. Don't give me the "Well, they took a chance on him and he won't forget that." It's Bynum we're talking about here.
They've had two #1 overall picks, one #4 overall pick, two picks in the Top 25... and that's just in the last three drafts. :x
Not breaking news here or anything, just pointing it out.
And to come out of there with just Anthony Bennett, Karasev, Waiters, Tristan, and Zeller (aside from the hit, Kyrie Irving). Ehhhhh.
They went against the grain on almost everything after Kyrie. And lets not call Tristan a commodity when he and Bennett play the same position. You don't spend a #4 overall selection on a guy, and then two years later spend the #1 overall pick on someone that plays the same position if you felt you were set there.
Them taking Bennett, and trying to act like the #1, Waiters, and Thompson was a good package for the T'Wolves for Kevin Love.
Obviously, they aren't high on Tristan Thompson.
I just don't know man. It just feels like they could be in a much better position than they are now. Maybe they could've dealt some of those top picks for established guys. I'm sure they weren't short of offers. They definitely could be contending for a playoff spot this year, but is that okay with the fans when you take a step back and look at all those picks they've compiled and what they've got out of them?

All those drafts were beyond weak tho. Waiters is solid, he can flat out score. Yall need to stop hating. Tristan put up 12 and 9 in his 2nd year. Solid once again. Give these dudes some time. Bennett we've yet to see, lets just sit back and relax and enjoy the kyrie show

Seems like he's trying to be controversial just to stay in the news.
Jonas was there in 2011, Barnes and Drummond were there in 2012, and everybody was there to pick from in 2013.
I'll give them a pass for 2013, because we don't know yet. However, those guys I posted in 2011 and 2012 aren't hindsight names, they were names that you had many experts tabbing as Top 3-5 picks those years.

Jonas was sitting out a year and we still dont know how he's going to be. Drummond I get you, Barnes was mad inconsistent in college but ya with the kyrie/barnes past IMO the cavs should have picked him. Either way, it wasnt a bad pick, Waiters had a very good rookie year. I feel as if they're not drafting SF's for the obvious hope. lol

He's the 4th option on the Wolves. No ones going to hate him. He has less responsibility than he did on OKC, who needed him to be the main scorer off the bench. Here he can play off Rubio, Love and Pek.

I get Kevin Love...maybe even Pek...but I doubt very seriously Rubio will be considered a scoring option in front of K-Mart

He'll be expected to score more than Rubio. He was our 4th leading scorer as well by the way or close with Ibaka. He was basically a spot up shooter/floor spacer with the starters and with the bench kind of expected to do a bit more coming off screens and driving, and still ha a decent fta draw %.
He'll score 20+ on the Pistons, Cavaliers, and Bobcats of the leagues and give you 8 to 11 every time you play a playoff team, and he'll always stink on D and aspects of the game outside of shooting. His home/road splits were also some of the most extreme I have seen, +-13% 3pt shooting home to road is ridiculous. It's worth questioning his aptitude to be injured too, now that he is outside of a contract yr I won't be shocked if he reverts back to missing huge chunks of the season

I'm not gonna look at numbers but considering he was the 3rd best creator who actually got PT, I'd imagine he got a ton of time on the floor without one of the two stars on OKC. That meant good teams had the luxury of focusing on him. Bad teams make mistakes, so even though they only had to worry about one scorer, they would leave him open. IMO very different situations.

That'd be something to see. But I think Miami would step off the gas in the regular season. Kinda how the Spurs do it. I'm kinda looking at either the Pacers/Bulls to clinch the top seed this season.
