chill those stats are from a 3 year periodRings: 6 vs. 2
Rings: 6 vs. 2
This, plus it was a different era. *shrugs*Rings: 6 vs. 2Mmm how interesting
It's actually quite the opposite. That era had hand checking and overall it was a more defense oriented league therefore it was by nature more physical. I have no doubt Lebron would have survived in that era, but it would still be an adjustment even for him. He's not used to contact as you can tell when he gets a hard hit coming through the lane. That's the one true thing that pisses me off with him, I WISH he would have the desire to dunk on people, but that's not the nature of his game. Jordan got the benefit of calls, but make no mistake he had to earn that, it wasn't given to him as it was Lebron from the outset.not sure what u r tryin to say?
people said Jordan got in easy in that era, because it was watered down

u check the stats urself and tell me what defensive era was more dominating...It's actually quite the opposite. The first part of your response, I agree with. However, they were more skilled back then. There were better shooters then, than there are now.In no way shape or format were the athletes as good as they were now tho. There was probably so much more hand checking because players went as athletic. Other then the Jordans and the people. who. Dominated the league there weren't as many athletesIt's actually quite the opposite. You just can't say check stats and don't show them to me. Exactly what statistics are you referring to? There was an issue of scoring being too low because the game was too physical. Fans didn't want to see it, so they opened it up by changing hand checking and enforcing the 3 second defensive rule more. This allowed for less of a slowdown and promoted more up and down and fast break opportunities. I know what you were trying to say with the clip, not sure why you added it. If you would have said "The Jordan Rules" that would have been sufficient because that's what everyone understood in that era and although they hated it, they had to live with it. Like I said, he earned it. Mike got knocked around plenty of times in his first few years. Then they saw how much *** he was busting, he earned the benefit. I'm not sure how old either one of you are and it's not an "I'm older than you" argument, but I know what I saw and the league back then was definitely more of a challenge. I think if Lebron played then, he'd be even more of a beast, he's not used to consistent hard contact at all.u check the stats urself and tell me what defensive era was more dominating...It's actually quite the opposite. My man, it's basketball, it's not like football. It comes down to who can execute, at this point everybody knows what set the other team is running, it's not that complicated. How many ways can you play man to man, 2-2-1 press, 1-2-2 press, 2-1-2 press? With rub screens and back picks? 2011 with what you pointed out was about adjustments with the matchups.Do people just not realize that offensive and defensive schemes are far more complex today than they were back then? Whatever physicality was lost from then until now has been made up for in Xs and Os. The 2011 Finals and the resulting aftermath (Miami changing its philosophy) really drives this home. It's actually quite the opposite. The hand checking rule is only part of the overall change in the defensive scheme thoughI always hear the hand checking debate and how much it would slow Lebron and Wade. But you also have to remember the reason why they are so good is their ability to create turnovers. They turn SA over so much and SA usually takes care of the ball so well. Wade and lebron are two great defenders and If hand checking was allowed now LBJ would have multiple DPOY awards. I think it would help these two more than hurt them because of the opportunities it would create in the open court from their defense.
