Well, when you're an NBA role player, a young one at that, you've probably been "that guy" you're entire life up until this point. So although he is a role player, he probably still considers himself "That Guy" when he's not around the Thunder/NBA. His people who've hung with him up until this point aid in that too, enabling that attitude because i'm that guy. He's Stupid in mind, and the people around him are too. This is to me partly why he did this.

That sense of entitlement because he made it to the NBA
