Dirk got his ring and mailed in his career.

iono, Dirk wants to compete. the entire team kinda got the honeymoon hangover after the chip, plus the roster was reworked, and things never been the same. i definitely wouldn't say that Dirk got lax and said eff it, though. when he came off of the injury last season he pretty much almost willed the team into the playoffs.

I feel Dirk lost the insatiable hunger for a championship after he secured one. All that extra work, jumpers, conditioning with his coach/trainer.
