OFFICIAL 2015 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

Ok I can see miller over Ellington but it's not by some large margain. Either is an average rb2 IMHO jus like alf. I either want consistancy or big play ability there. Not someone that's td dependent like I feel Ingram will be

So you think Miller being a top 10 RB last season in standard and PPR was a fluke? He certainly wasn't an average RB2 last season, he was a legit RB1

I'm under the belief that he's a good RB2 with a high ceiling

yep Miller had 1,099 yds on only 216 carries. Dude is a beast when given the opportunity, so hopefully the coaches will let him cook this season

So here is a question for you all
Should you be allowed to trade someone you don't keep for a pre draft trade?

Like my league allows people to keep 3 guys should someone be able to trade someone and still retain all 3 keepers or should he only be allowed to keep 2 because that person he traded is a keeper....sounds like a dumb question but it has sparked some debate lol

Much thanks
Different people are gonna have opposing viewpoints on this. I agree with you. That traded player should count as a keeper. So the owner would only be allowed to keep 2 people.

my league is switching from a two qb league to now a one qb with an open slot for any skill position. do you guys think it would be better to carry 2 elite/good qbs in this case since qb typically score more on average? just to be clear there are 2 rb, 2 wr, flex, and an open position.
6 or 4 points for a passing TD? Either way you're still gonna want to play a QB in that OP slot. More than likely you're not gonna be able to start a third RB or WR that will outperform another QB on a consistent basis.

I just picked up Devante Adams of waivers, my WR's look like

Dez Bryant
Demaryius Thomas
Amari Coooper
Julian Edelman
Brandon Lafell
DevAnte Adams

I don't who to go to with at the 3 wr I want to start Cooper since I drafted him in the 4th round, which I know was mistake but I honestly didn't know who to pick at that spot.

Just finished my draft in a 12 team 0.75 PPR league

Picks picked in order as follows, i was 6th pick

1. Le'veon Bell

2. AJ Green

3. Frank Gore

4. Amari Cooper

5. Doug Martin

6. Nelson Agholor

7. Matt Ryan

8.Charles Johnson

9. Tevin Coleman

10. Duke Johnson

11. Antonio Gates

12. Breshad Perriman

13. Devante Parker

14, Miami D

15.Cody Parker

Starters:

QB: Matt Ryan

WR: AJ Green, Cooper

RB: Leveon bell, frank gore

TE: gates

Flex: Doug martin/ agholor (dont know who go to guy will be)

D: Miami

K:Parker

What yall think?

Solid. I'd be concerned of you WRs. Green is made of tissue and Cooper may come on, but doesn't register for me as a good fantasy player out of the gates. Especially in PPR. Id start Charles at WR2. Not sure of Gates in his twilight, but he can still produce.

Judging by past seasons and how things worked out on top of the blackhand the blackhand 's reiteration, I think I'll be waiting a long while for Q this year and in auctions I will probably end up with great value by waiting until much later.

Don't like the bench tbh, if one or two of your starters go down...good luck

I think I have some sleepers in the bench though. I'll have to see how they'll do during the season. I think Charles Johnson and Duke Johnson can be good backups.

Morris has matt Jones coming strong.

That was my sleeper pick in 2nd to last round in my draft, people were clownning me... I think he will be the feature back after a few weeks.

Even though you drafted Cooper, Adams is the clear choice, he is going to beast with A. Rod

Feature back after a few weeks? Good luck with that

He's been impressing the staff but to become the #1 back after a few weeks... yeah not going to hold my breath for that one

I think his hands ******* suck and he was a reach at where the Panthers drafted him. I was so happy when the Panthers made that pick and there were so many people on here in the NFL Discussion thread that were laughing their *** off when the pick was made.

That said, the Panthers have literally nobody to throw to but Olsen and I guess Funchess. So idk...take a flyer on him if you want but I still think he's a bum and I'll just avoid taking anybody from that offense right now besides Olsen.

well first of all you shouldn't have drafted Cooper in the 4th. That's absurdly early for a rookie WR on the Raiders.

Here's what you're going to do. Edelman is battling an injury, monitor his status up until week 1. If he's even a little hobbled, your decision becomes Cooper v Adams. Play the matchups. Once Edelman is healthy, and your lg is PPR, you play Edelman

unproven, relax. Stop buying into the hype just yet. He has 38 catches in the NFL. 38.

Just because he's in a great situation with an elite QB, doesn't mean he's going to be an elite WR. "He's poised for a breakout yet" is an easy article to write when the #1 WR on the team goes down. It's a logical progression, but it's also click bait and it's also presumptuous for a 2nd year WR who has barely seen the field.

No thank you.

I don't trust Cam Newton with a football or decision making. Someone else can take a chance on any and every Panther.

People compair

Gota disagree. He has shown flashes of talent. He has a great qb in a high octane offense. Great qb's make receivers. Look at the wr's in new england now and in the past.is he a lock to put up big numbers... Hell no but the cards are lined up perfect for him.same with Brandon Coleman. He is in a perfect spot , will he come through ? We will see.

what youre saying is true

but youre talking about a WR on the packers, an organization known to produce productive WR's. that offense and rodgers go along way especially when you have a solid RB like lacy and no clear stand out at the TE position.

Arod will throw for a ton of yds. Not all going to Cobb. Te's are shaky at best. Where are the balls that don't go to Cobb going? Adams , Montgomery , Janis.pick ur poison.

Adams was a 2nd Rd pick. GB don't miss on a 2nd Rd WR. This guy has the talent, the situation, and the QB. His own coach and QB were already praising him before Nelson got hurt.

1100 yds 7 TD floor
