Tim Duncan the Nas of the NBA
lzgupbvljvl6hklwvr4g.jpg
one good season every ten year average *staying good while most of his peers have fell off or become washed

mos def. gs and spurs are the favorites i think but houston is the dark horse. no other team even has a shot at getting to the finals in the west imo
Wait wut

What about Memphis? Houston aint doin **** IMO, maybe if they were fully healthy

Depending on Conley's healthy, Memphis has a way better shot than Houston
Call me crazy for liking Houston over Memphis.

dont think gs will be able to keep up with memphis.

houston has  excellent role players , that ariza and brewer combo, dudes that do the dirty work  are so valuable in the po ,  we know you dont need a good pg to win. i believe they got a  way better shot then memphis .

NO really gonna look like idiots for trading Nerlens.

AD the best big man midrange shooter in the league, they woulda had no spacing problems and two of the best young defensive forces in the league.

Well, Houston will need to get through SA/LAC while Memphis would have to get through GS

When I put it like that then it's difficult to say who really has the better shot to advance

I don't see Houston doing a damn thing against SA and if LAC were to get by SA well that would mean CP3 and Blake are BYKE

And Elf Payton.

Pelicans were chasing the 8th seed with all those moves..they got it and got swept, hope management is happy

true i dont think hous would get passed sas..

i think hous has a better shot against the clippers then they do against sas..... kawhi will affect harden way more then anyone on the clippers can.

Forgot they included that pick. :x

******* horrible b, they coulda had one of the best young cores in the league.

Now they have Tunnel Vision Tyreke and Get Paid Gordon.

I like Jrue but dude hasn't been healthy enough to even make an impact.

Did Leonard guard Harden during the regular season? Harden's FG% vs. the Spurs the last two games were terrible

Today will decide a lot for the Clippers. Either go down 3-1 and essentially lose the series or tie it up with the series going back to LA for a pivotal game 5

It's scary that Duncan/Parker/Manu can all put up meager numbers and the Spurs can still blow the Clippers out

I feel like the Bulls are going to bury the Bucks next game. Like the Bucks won't realize what hit them until they're down twenty and almost 6 feet under.

Bulls was sleep for 3 quarters this game. Never again.
This. I also hope that hunger and drive carry's over when they go up against Cleveland.

I said this back on June 29th, 2014 but the thread is locked so I can't quote:

"I would disagree, Pelicans are trying to microwave a playoff team when they could have had several lottery picks to build around."

They microwaved the crap out of their assets and are stuck with mediocre talent

Kawhi is on his way to being a top 5 player, that's the difference.

If he can put up 30 while locking down the best opposing perimeter player, there ain't no words for how valuable that is.

Harden gonna have his work cut out for him, Rockets chance depends solely on Dwight putting up monster numbers, Spurs are still weak inside.

Jones will be a huge factor as well, if he can stretch TD out to at least 18 feet with his jumper, Rockets have a shot.

Boy oh boy I hope Pop gives him at least 6 million a year for all the hard work Leonard's put in. He deserves it

Jrue has got to get healthy. His health, or lack thereof, is the main reason the season was up and down. I can't count the number of ten day contract guards we've had this season. Tyreke can play guard...not sure if you want him to. Rotations were unpredictable because everytime you would look up, someone else was hurt. Tyreke is an interesting player. Sometimes, he would play as if he were born to play the 1. 13 assist in a half and things of that nature. Other times he would look like he was trying to dribble the air out of the ball. Gordon turned himself into a great catch and shoot three point shooter. He shot a great percentage this year. Asik is a free agent. Don't mind if he's gone. Got to shore up the bench. We definitely have deficiencies but things are looking up.

Yeah, I said it a few posts up, you guys have 7 players under contract which isn't bad

On the other hand you gave up some great lottery picks which could have secured a much brighter future

Oh wow. That's dope.
Really? Then what's the point of a sneaker deal? :lol
So most sneaker deals are on court only? So as long as their not televised NBA games, they can wear Reebok or Adidas for casual wear?!

Yes guys like iverson, kanye, and jay z back in the day when he was reebok are rumored to have big nike n jordan collections even tho they sign to adidas

Although ai might not be able to wear jordan outside that house since adidas gave him that lifetime contract :lol

Ahhhh i see. Word word.

I doubt all shoe deals work exactly the same. When they're huge shoe and apparel contracts like LeBron, Kobe, KD and Rose have, the probably do include terms that try to force that athlete to wear exclusively Nike or Adidas athletic products, even off court. Dwight's deal may work differently. Plus, realistically, if Adidas is making money from Dwight endorsing their shoes, they're not going to want to terminate the contract just because he's spotted wearing Jordans occasionally. Probably just a call from Adidas to Dwight's lawyer saying, "yeah, can you ry and encourage your client not to be filmed wearing shoes from another brand." Probably not worth it for them to make a big deal out of him wearing another brand here and there, as long as its not for games. And probably everyone gets a sort-of a pass for wearing Jordans casually because they're Jordans.

Oh okay, i got it now.

Our owner is 97,000 years old :lol I think after Chris left and the whole NBA owning the team and the obvious lack of talent we had, he decided to get better now. Not saying it was the right move, but I can understand why he did it.

I remember man, we was all saying the same thing.

Owner wanted to make a splash and make the playoffs even at the cost of seriously damaging the future of his franchise.

If they do things the right way, their present could look like

Elfrid/AD/Nerlens.

Cap room to sign Middleton this offseason and a good draft pick.

Big enough room to go ham in 2016 as well.

But na, let's just make the 8th seed and make the same mistakes the Wolves and Cavs made when they had generational players.

The Cavs couldnt help it though, LBJ was a walking 50 wins by year three, the draft became an afterthought for them, their real issue was bad acquisitions, a TON of bad acquisitions.

Rockets are easy work for the Spurs.
