Official 2015 NFL Draft Thread

best bet for Petty is the Saints take him and he sits behind Brees for a couple years, assuming they don't trade him

I still think the Saints make a play for MM8 with those two 1st rounders

your move Chip, I guess if the Eagles don't get MM8 I would be okay with a boring pick like Brandon Scherff to replace Mathis

I'm not totally convinced Mathis goes anywhere. Would be pretty stupid of us actually considering our OL depth right now. Even with Mathis I wouldn't mind if we took an OL like Scherff to replace Herremans. Could pay dividends.

Yeah I didn't mean replace him this year, they can play together and he could take over for Mathis in 2016

I just meant with his age he probably is gone regardless after 2015

yeah for sure. We actually need a couple OL, Peters getting up there. I wouldn't be totally opposed to moving him to OG for the rest of his career after this year and swinging Lane out to LT. Think we could get a lot more productive years out of Jason at a G spot. Dude is still the goods.

Since when is Andy Dalton successful?

Could've had Teddy Bridgewater last year.

If we go oline think someone like tj clemmings.. Could start out at guard.. Then lane would shift over to left tackle and tj could take over the right tackle spot

But I think the coaches are high on Tobin, Gardner and barbre

Or we could hope jake fisher makes it to us in the 2nd

Got a chance to watch UCF CB Jacoby Glenn. Hadn't heard much about him. Kept watching more & more, thinking it was just a good game(s).Legit

Jacoby Glenn is 6'0 - 179 lbs. Long speed is a question, especially seeing how he'll have to add weight in the NFL. BUT....

Jayson Braddock @JaysonBraddock · 3m 3 minutes ago

UCF trusted him as field CB as RS-freshman & sophomore. Sticky man-to-man. Explosive out of off man & fools QB w/ closing of space in off-m.

IF, Jacoby was even 195 & showed high 4.4 low 4.5 speed in games, he'd be a 1st rd pick. Despite weight & speed concerns, I'd take in 2nd.

His kind of man coverage ability isn't taught. Reminds of of Casey Hayward. 2nd round grade that could be special in NFL.

We're about to do a group interview with Woody Johnson. This should be interesting.

Woody says he was impressed by Marcus Mariota's college career but says Geno Smith is "way ahead of him" in development.

This is getting too easy, come on...... :lol

I need the Rams to pull him. I would give that a shot, even have Foles there for this year, and let him start fresh next year.

I think the Saints is a bit of a reach, they won't have much left post Brees, unless they crush this draft, and next year's as well. Which.....may be possible I suppose. Ok, Saints would be a good pull.
