Oleksandr Usyk's 1st defense added to #HopkinsSmith @HBOboxing telecast. My story: http://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/...lder-oleksandr-usyk-fight-thabiso-rock-mchunu … #boxing @TomLoeffler1
Is HBO investing in Usyk because of his potential as a HW down the line, or are they actually going to start investing in the CW division?

I'm not going to lie the only reason I'm interested in following some of the young CW's is because of their potential as HW's.  Generally speaking I find the smaller HWs much more entertaining than the SHW types that rule the division nowadays.

That reminds me, a few years ago on boxingscene a trainer/cornerman told a story of a boxer who was out partying and had sex the night before a fight. He didn't mention any names. But I put the pieces of the puzzle together and I believe that it was James Toney vs Holyfield.

Loosing it? :lol

You can tell they all know how to get into eachother's heads. They all have a history together since amateur days.

This has been coming for a while. SR's been talking nice about his son again which means the kid must be going to training at least once a week now, and not finishing those sessions with In-N-Out.

That dude will get stomped on by zurdo.

Jr tryna cash out fightin canelo, and then get disowned forever.

Andy Lee got stopped by him. That's gotta be the most embarrassing thing to ever happen to him.

Brian Vera was the first to beat and stop Andy Lee. But it shouldn't really count because it was a questionable call by the ref. I think that's worse than getting stopped by Chavez Jr, at least on paper. That version of Chavez Jr is the best we'll ever see of him, and he was probably just scratching the surface. :{
