Yea I'm starting to think it'd be smarter using cap space to lock up Whiteside long term than gambling on the FA market next summer.

i been said dragic aint worth it. certain others tried to tell me otherwise. all hype. no delivery.
He will probably get that Anthony Davis type contract.
Only way we will excel in the postseason is if Dragic starts to play like he did in PHX. I know its an adjustment for him to play alongside Wade, who is also ball dominant. But Dragic and coaching staff need to figure out how to use him more efficiently. So far, that contract is looking suspect
You do realize we've played 10 games right? The guy was just third team all NBA his last full season with one team. Matter a fact he just had 16 and 9 the first night his family finally moved into town what else you expect?i been said dragic aint worth it. certain others tried to tell me otherwise. all hype. no delivery.
I seriously don't think we need to go all out and sign Dragic to some insane max contract. He's not a player that's going to take us deep into the playoffs.
He's a good player but not much of a difference maker. I'd rather the Heat resign Wade, trade Chalmers and McBob for better up and coming talent. Plus we need to use our draft pick very wisely this year and draft proven talent that we could develop into a future star.
Go all out for 2016 and don't let Dragic interfere with a pool of players likeKawhi, Durant,Westbrook, and Whiteside.

He forced his own way out, they didn't get rid of him. Waaaaay too early for the brigade. I think he'll find his way and get going, not really worried tbhRemember, the Suns easily got rid of him for a reason...

I think what a lot of us see is a player getting $85 mil over 5 years $17 mil a season and he's only averaging:
11 points a game
4 assists a game
25% at the 3 point line
3 TO's a game
Hell! Chalmers did those numbers on his off nights and he only gets $4.5 mil a year. Matter of fact, since Chalmers has been on the Grizz he's averaging 18points a game and had 29 points in a winning effort against the Thunder two nights ago.
You don't want a player with a contract like Dragic to impede the signings of; a) Whiteside, b) Durant, c) Winslow in 3 years.
Remember, the Suns easily got rid of him for a reason...
its an unfounded DREAM that like 1 person on air said was possible and people ran with it. when has kd has EVER expressed interest in miami. i cant remember a single time. its like in highschool when someone starts a rumor and its passed around so much, people start believing its a fact^^ brotha it's happening
Remember people said the samething about a Wade-Bosh-LeBron trio...
But I believe he had that season when Bledsoe was out for the year with the ACL and he was allowed to be ball dominant. I believe the following season (beginning of last year) when Bledsoe came back is when his production started to decline. That's numbers from 10 games. The suns got rid of him because he didn't wanna be there they have bledeoe and signed Thomas back court was to crowded. Go look at the guys numbers
I'm not gonna judge a guy intill he has time to settle in. He came in last year and we were riddled by injuries. Then he got hurt we had no rhythm last year. Going by what he did his last full season there's no reason why he dosent deserve that contract especially with the cap going up.

That's what I'm judging him off of.
For all the Dragic talk, I'm not worried at all. The man ain't have no lovin' from his wife in over 3 months.
He and the team will figure it out. I actually thought Dragic played damn good ball the first half against the Timberwolves, so the potential is there. He just needs to have a complete game from beginning to end.
The silver lining in all of this is that he's getting his normal shots... he just needs to make them. As fans, I know we all want instant gratification... but it's a process. The fact that we are winning games with Dragic playing mediocre ball is a testament to this teams talent.
Give him 9 more games, then you can criticize...
Nevertheless, t'was a good team win tonight. Still inconsistent at times, but they did a lot better making free throws and limiting the turnovers. Plus we saw good Amare' tonight. I can't complain.
see.... this is what im *sigh* mcrob has robbed us since he been on the team. dude gotta play to expectation when healthy. same for dragic.9 more games? Well tonight is 1 of 10. Let's look at his numbers.
Dragic - 31 mins, 4-11 36%, 9 points
Tyler J - 25 mins, 6-8 75%, 19 points
It's not looking good for him. But yeah I was pleased to see Amare get some burn tonight and he looked good too!
Oh yeah, Josh McRoberts 17mins ZERO POINTS.
