Chris Haynes @ChrisBHaynes

Free-agent Gordon Hayward plans to sign with the Boston Celtics, league sources tell ESPN.

Hayward would be a nice addition if he picks Boston. still need more to keep up with these Western teams tho

Adding Hayward, resigning Kelly
Then flipping a combination of Crowder, smart , brown and/or picks could help them gather other pieces to round out the team
They could really make a strong push against Cleveland

For PG I could understand the apprehension (although everybody saying they had extensions in place for some weird reason) but they definitely should have got Jimmy.

trey oh five not feeling very good today. Whiffed on another one.

Pat don't have the touch anymore.

but in reality. This moves makes too much sense and shouldn't have even been a debate.

SLC gotta be heartbroken. I honestly feel for them

They still make the playoffs? At least someone went east for once

Are you that dense? It's not about per year. $60 guarantee vs $23 guaranteed all day long. He's not guaranteed to get a 2/$37 after this season. He would need that to break even. That's a risk

I bet you would take 1/$23m over 3/$60m as a 33 year old. I would expect that from you.
Again, 23 is greater than 20. Not sure whats hard to understand in that. He's playing along side great young talent who will find him open looks. Veteran long range specialists are always needed. His career will be extended. Great move by JJ. We're not going by your hypothetical contracts that were never offered.
