Hunter Bryant is out for the year. Y’all still high on UW?

browning’s running out of receivers.

Finished season 3 of Last Chance U. It never ceases to amaze me how close some players come to throwing away their last opportunity or the fact that some actually squander it. Obviously many of the players come from rough backgrounds and have their challenges, but most of the stuff their struggling with is common sense. And Malik Henry......:smh:

I think alot of the kids on Last Chance U exhibit self-destructive behavior. It's the only way to explain some of their actions. It doesn't help that they aren't actually being coached. Coach Brown legit said, 'it doesn't matter what plays I call as long as the players believe in me and the system, it'll work. He doesn't seem to have the Xs and Os side of coaching down and he can't keep his composure. I hate when they tell their players to be disciplined while they're over there cursing at refs and throwing stuff. Him and Buddy Stephens better stay at the JUCO level because they'll get eaten up by actual coaches at the D-2 and D-1 level.

I don't think Malik likes playing football. It looks like his dad is forcing it on him. His dad wasn't in his life until he showed he could be a top recruit, forced him to quit playing baseball and moved him to 3 different high schools. He has an awful attitude as well. Always blaming others, not passing classes, trying to undermine the coach, etc. No leadership ability or perseverance at all.

Will be called sour grapes but...
    • ...with the commitment of Mycah Pittman to Oregon, it's another prospect UCLA wasn't recruiting who is going to a recruiting competitor and taking up a spot.

In other words, we wanted Pittman to go to Oregon.

In fact, among the Pac-12 programs that have big recruiting classes so far, there are quite a few committed prospects that UCLA wasn't really recruiting (and, in most cases, we agree with that evaluation).

Among Oregon's 16 commitments, there are probably three that UCLA could get admitted academically, that they were actually recruiting (at some point), and guys I'd advocate taking (Mykael Wright, Mase Funa and Josh Delgado).

Among USC's 10 commitments -- only five were UCLA recruitable (and they essentially turned down one of them, Ethan Rae).

Washington is a little better. Among their 12 commitments, there are probably 7-8 UCLA recruitable.

It'd be good if Oregon and USC continue to get commitments from guys UCLA isn't recruiting, because what it effectively does is take up a spot on one of UCLA's competitor's commitment list, and potentially take away a spot for a prospect UCLA is targeting in common with those schools.

This is the kind of **** your 247 editors are peddling @bigmike23?

I'd personally switch Miami and Texas, USC & FSU (matter of fact FSU can move out of the top 5 altogether).

yeah, no way Texas is #1 on that list. Not even the better team on the field that night, but thats a whole other conversation.

1. '01 Canes
2. '08 Gators
3. '04 Trojans
4. '05 Longhorns
5. '13 Seminoles

If they actually played the games though, I feel like 2012 Alabama would be top 5 in here somewhere.
