A little too late unfortunately. Once the batter starts staring down the pitcher after that, the catcher should automatically try to get in front of him.

But I wouldn't put the blame on AJ at all.

Ouch. Greinke will have a rod placed in his clavicle to stabilize and align the fracture. The timeline places his return in mid-June. Ted Lilly is expected to replace him in the rotation for now. Apr 12 - 7:02 PM

So he'll miss 10 starts. Hopefully we can go at least 5-5 in those games. Perhaps the injury costs the team 2-3 losses. Trying to find a silver lining here.

Aside from kemps struggles

I think I'd prefer Adrian hitting 3rd and kemp 4th..
Both have power but if we have a 3 and out 1st inning, kemp can lead off the 2nd, he has speed and usually a better obp
Am I the only one who feels this way?

It'll also avoid two lefties in a row with Adrian and Ethier
