Pretty sure the pitch clock is killing him. As a twitchy OCD kinda guy myself (as a hockey goalie) I can imagine it's completely messed up his routine on the mound. He always takes his cap off, wipes his forehead, fixes his chains, etc after every pitch, and now that leaves him like 8 seconds to get his sign, set and pitch. He's too rushed. If he can break his routine somehow (maybe leave the chains in the clubhouse, for example) and buy himself an extra 3-4 seconds to breathe and steady himself I think it'll help a ton. If he can't, I think he might be screwed.
