I don't know if his contract is complete toxic... if a win is worth roughly $7million, you'll get your money's worth for at least the next 3-4 years, Giancarlo is only 27. It's not like that Pujols/Angels contract where he was past his prime.

Knowing this FO though, it won't happen, and I respect that. Paying the $ is one thing, but giving away value in a decent big leaguer, young arms, and an almost sure above average bat is insane.
