The doors open 1 1/2 hours before game time so pretty much needa stake your spot when you walk in. Home plate is preferable, i'd avoid grandstand in the deep right and left fields just with the whole pillar stuff going on. Pretty much maybe 100-200 cheaper by day of tickets. But up to you man. My friends went to game 1 last year and did the right field buffet for 1K a pop.

Damn that 1 k is crazy. Are you gonna try to get tickets ?

Just go to the stadium and keep refreshing stubhub right before the start of the game. I got ws game 6 tix last year for $300 in the ayce right field pavilion waiting till the last min.

Naw dont do standing room, that shoulder to shoulder will get annoying. Cop seated seats for like $20 more my boy

Bro the way i look at it ... once in a lifetime experience, money comes and goes man.

Told the wife she hs no say in this and spent money on game 1.

Would i do it again? Probably not, kinda just wanna chill and watch the game but ill b checking stubhub up until game time since i work down the street.

But watching your team in an iconic stadium like fenway seems like a no brainer imo, but if youre having doubts w $$$ dont do it, just go to a bar.

Gametime is a good app for last minute tickets. Had a friend buy tickets as she was driving up to dodger stadium so it can be done.

if it dips under $200, i'm trying to discipline myself and that what I put for max spend (saving up for a wedding). i'd prefer to go to game where kershaw is pitching.
Standing room to me isn't worth $500 but the atmosphere would be crazy. Read some stat where Dodgers have played less than 10 games at fenway in the last 70 years.

Good luck and PM me if you need anything. lots of places in Brighton/Brookline/Boston will have 6 or 8 PM free parking till whenever, no overnight parking in Brookline. Just maybe pay for the uber or walk a mile or 2. Lots of people will take the Train from Riverside to Kenmore, https://www.mbta.com/stops/place-river you can park there and it's a 30-40 min $2 train.
