Kevin Durant said earlier this month he wants to stay with the Warriors, and Golden State will do everything it can to make that happen.

sounds like the normal PC answer
KD dont have to sign for 4 years , can stay doing the same 1 +1 cause its best for him
Myers know its best for the team and the possible payroll maneuvering going forward if KD is inked to a long term deal.

vol. 1,000,803 of bill simmons being a homer and a bish:

according to simmons, boston is the only place where lebron can really compete with the warriors next year.. takes a while to even mention philly, but talks houston and boston.. and then says he only goes to LA or stays in cleveland

I gotta think if lebron is having a meeting with the Cavs tomorrow there is zero chance he is staying with Cleveland. Only thing being discussed in that meeting are either S&Ts or the fact that he is outright leaving and to plan accordingly.

Implosion from within. Dubs dynasty ending + Lakeshow byke all things are returning as they should be, perfectly balanced.

how many summers can you continue to have this hope?

Wouldn't read to much into Bron meeting with CLE think that's just the normal in what I think would be the exit interview. He's not going to let them know whether he's opting out or not tomorrow.

Cavs management should get a hint of what he’s leaning towards at least

I'm just going off of past history, apparently they had no idea last time and Bron has only gotten more shrewd at hiding his intentions or throwing smoke screens (ie Shabazz Napier w/ Miami).

Griff is a competent GM though.

He wouldn't be a bad hire by any metric.

His only good moves were the deadline trades during the 2015 season.
Outside of that he was kinda trash.

I keep hearing that he is a competent GM but I can’t understand why. He hasn’t done any outstanding moves and I feel like the Cavs would not be in a financial crunch if he hadn’t given Tristan and JR a bag.

That being said, they did win a chip.

I thought he was the one who drafter Anthony Bennett but I was wrong.

This is his track record: https://www.basketball-reference.com/executives/griffin01x.html

I’m watching Colin cowherd show and I realized he literally picks and chooses what facts he wants to display. Like he’ll compare two players and only present negatives about one but positives about the other. Whatever fits his narrative.

That’s the show where they use Totals instead of Per game averages as to why Bron was this years MVP over harden :lol.

Those shows can’t be taken seriously. Shame they have such a loud microphone, and the bs goes unchallenged though. It’s a chore having basketball conversations in real life :{ :lol.

My man was telling me how Steph was trash at the rim the other day :{. I ain’t even have the energy man. I just said....you goin it man!

Sheesh that Mozgov trade was kinda bad lol
And Tristan and JR getting those contracts is 100% due to Bron. Can’t really fault Griffin for that.
