I think people are really forgetting the severity of Boogie's injury. I don't know about negative effect but I don't think it's going to be close to the same Boogie we are used to.

He doesn’t have to rush back at all.

Hell he could come back during play offs. Show that the Achilles is cool and he’ll get a deal.

Achilles injuries are bad but they aren’t what they use to be. It’s 2018.

Although Boogie is not their level of player after seeing CP3 maxed and knowing teams are willing to give Leonard the bag Cousins will be just fine.

Point remains that Mcgee, West & Zaza saw a combined 15 mpg against the Rockets, they couldn't guard anyone on switches, nor were they threats on offense. You replace those minutes with Boogie who also can't guard Harden on Switches... However You now have Harden Or PJ Tucker Stuck in the post against Boogie instead of one of those Guys. Celtics turned Embiid into a defensive liability without Kyrie and Hayward, and he's a much better defender than Boogie. Doing the same to Boogie coming off an Achilles injury would be a piece of cake.

Between PG talking LA up all this time and signing with OKC conveniently right before Lebron is revealed to have signed with the Lakers and Boogie taking less than the Lakers were offering to play in GS as opposed to playing in a bigger market and playing with Lebron is saying a lot
