Well for starters, if Lavine is a guy they want, they have to send Zach an offer sheet that they think the Bulls won't match, so there has to be a bit of an overpay just because he's a RFA.

And as others have said, the Kings have to make gambles such as these.

Thank you Tony for 17 beautiful years as a Spurs fan. It was a hell of a ride. I remember when people were questioning Pop's decision to bring in Tony.
