It’s gonna come down to if the Celtics are willing to include Tatum...and they might not be cuz my man Danny Ainge is stubborn like that.

Magic and Pelinka would be willing to give up all 4 of their young guys I think so I give the edge to the Lakers on landing AD

Magic and Pelinka would absolutely give up all 4 of their young guys so I give the edge to the Lakers on landing AD

Thank you. We all know Boston has the better and most assets, it's if Ainge is willing to include their most prized one or not.

Ainge is gonna give up everyone but Tatum for Brow and honestly he should do it. Rebuild the team around Tatum and Brow, championship within the next 2 seasons.

Kyrie out here lookin crazy :smh: Had Drederick in the Garden face assin it up and he bout to be in New Orleans

The most ideal moves for Boston are either-

- Brown/Rozier (on new contract)/Bob Williams/Picks
- Brown/Horford (expiring contract)Bob Williams/Picks
- Brown/Hayward/Bob Williams/Picks

If it costs Tatum, I think Ainge will do it, but will want to retain Brown or some of those picks.

Really, there's no point in talking about this right now though because he's not going anywhere until this summer.

More AD to Celtics/Lakers talk

I truly don’t think the Lakers 4 young players would be enough for the Pels right now. They’d still want more imo. UNLESS this drags on and his trade value diminishes

I honestly think NO would rather have Jaylen Brown back in a trade than Kyrie cuz no way he’s staying. With Brown at least there’s hope that he becomes something and be one of your building blocks for the next few years

Again why would the lakers trade all 4 young guys.
LeBron and AD would be 70 percent of the cap and no other trade assets to improve.

what picks does BOS have?
- Kings pick this year top 1 protected. If they pick 1, Boston gets Philly's pick.
- Grizzlies pick this year top 8 protected. Top 6 protected in 2020 if hasn't conveyed. Unprotected in 2021 if hasn't conveyed.
- Clippers pick top 14 protected. Top 14 protected in 2020 if hasn't conveyed.
- Boston picks into the future.

Why? Cause it's AD. That's what it's going to cost to beat out Boston should they decide to include Tatum.

Assuming KD leaves GS. Lakers w/ Bron & AD should be favorites in the west regardless of what's around them.

Must be nice to be able to clearly not attempt to play defense, Miss FT's in late games, 7 know your teammates are gonna get all the blame :ohwell:

Please Someone get us AD,KD, Kawhi, etc etc anyone who will make this Lebron thing worthwhile.

Prime example of why no stars wanna lace em up with this bum. Who would willingly sign up for that nonsense, especially knowing you aint gon win no chip anyways and still have to be relegated to playing bron ball for the entire term of your contract? That's just Goofy. Word to Max.

hmm so pretty much all the picks are in the upper half of the drafts.
Brown+Rozier+those picks is a pretty good package.
Would they entertain giving up Al?

For sure. Al would be salary matching and his $30M would come off the books in 2020.

Getting AD would rejuvenate Bron methinks

You lose Brow for Jaylen and you won’t see the playoffs again in the west for at least another 2 seasons. Getting Kyrie now at least gives them a chance to pitch to him getting some pieces around and making it his team. Either way, Ainge is literally going to have to choose between Kyrie or Tatum to get Brow and even though Kyrie is the better player, Tatum is cheaper and less injury prone.

Magic and Pelinka are more concerned with bringing showtime back then winning a championship.

Kyrie is not going to be involved in any trade. If a trade were to happen during this season, which it won't, Kyrie will just leave NO in free agency.

IMO the Pelicans wait till this summer at the earliest.

Due to the "Rose Rule" doesn't Kyrie have to sign a new deal before the Celtics can even attempt to trade for AD?
