Probably a combination of PT and pay. Heard the last offer was 2 / 4M from GS. Pretty sure another team would be willing to give him more but GS has also said they'll match anything.

If thats the case, just give him a better offer

Kuzma should be off limits if I’m Magic. Get a third team involved if they won’t take Ingram, Hart, Zo and picks for AD

Let’s get it :hat

Cleveland is a peculiar choice though. Clarkson, Hood, Burks, Sexton, perennial all star Cedi.

Pelicans, sure. Maybe even Detroit. I don’t think Cleveland is the place to resurrect your value. Ask Rodney Hood
Cavs must really love Delly to offer this to McCaw (Share the same agent).

You know damn well teams gotta give up their best prospect for a chance at a guy like AD.

Especially with it being obvious he's passed Ingram

Can't see the Pelicans trading Davis before they offer him the supermax.

Come the summer, I'm thinking this is plausible:

Zubac (sign and trade to make the money balanced)
Ingram
Kuzma
Hart
Future first round pick

For Davis and a bad contract (Hill?)

That's a lot but we get to keep Zo. Maybe bring Juju back and we cooking with gas. As it stands unless AD forces his way to LA, eliminating Boston from giving up their best assets then it's going to take 3 of the 4 (Zo, BI, Kuz, Hart) to get him.

So Mccaw turned down two years 5 mil to be a solid rotational player for GSW to sign a two-year non-guaranteed contract to play for the Cavs for an additional 1 mil. Is his agent a family member or something?

Good luck with that.

Kuz looks to have that IT factor and irrational confidence on the floor, but he is 3 years older than BI. They'd still be at best tied as most desirable prospects. BI is a skinny DDR mired in the mid range NBA of yesteryear but has elite defender potential.

Best case scenario is one of the marquee free agents has a change of heart and actually doesn't mind being in Lebby's shadow (who am I kidding) and it won't really matter if we offer the kitchen sink for AD.

(I still don't think it's guaranteed the Pelicans go the full rebuild route if they trade away Davis.)

No such thing for a legit top 5-7 player.

U don’t trade half your damn team for
any player

Wasn't Melo a top 5-7 player when the knicks traded their entire core to pair him with amare? Team was in a good rhythm the beginning of that season too. Amare was flourishing. Gallenari stupid face was eating too.

you don't trade your team for a player. Idc who it is.

You’re willing to offer that much? I get it’s AD but LeBron turns 34 tomorrow and in a couple years they’ll be exactly where they were 2-3 years ago if they trade all that.
