#6 seems like a high price for Conley

Not sure Conley's timeline matches with the Suns.

But if I were the Suns, I wouldn't offer #6 for Conley. Maybe an offer of Tyler Johnson, TJ Warren, and Josh Jackson for Conley?

Spitballing but I think something w/Jackson and Johnson would be able to get something done there, or at least some discussions.

The Knicks deal for AD is appealing because of how cheap the contracts will be (until DSJ needs to be re-upped) on top of RJ and Zion being boys. RJ basically brings the same skillset to the table as Ingram. Knox is probably just as good, if not better than whatever the #4 pick will be.

Can phx build a package for Conley with the #6?

6th Pick right now seems like a high price for Conley.

What Grizzlies do need is some salary relief, plus some smaller pieces and an okay centerpiece of a deal. They could get some salary relief by giving them Tyler Johnson who makes $13mil less than Conley. Oubre which is a decent get 2020 protected 1st probably falls 8-12 range and some 2nds.

Would give them a ton of expirings going into 2020 offseason
Parsons $25mil
T. Johnson $19mil
Jonas $17mil
Bradley $12mil
CJ Miles $8mil

Gives them JJJ, Ja, Oubre. Maybe Suns 2020 instead and a ton of cap space. The Grizzlies also probably could stay in top 5 and keep their pick in 2020

6th Pick and matching salaries probably easily get it done. But that’s such a high price

Yeah the 6th pick is a high price, but I'd love watching Conley and Book man :lol the Suns are bad but between them and the Grizzlies, there's a package there for Conley if they choose to go that route.

Knox is young but he's terribleeee

Or at least was this past season.

He had maybe the worst rookie season since Austin Rivers which doesn't bold well to me when your floor is THIS bad.

For AD, it’s a 3 team race... Knicks, Lakers, and Celtics.

Knicks and Lakers need to include their pick.
I would say Tatum has a similar value to a top 5.

Celtics have to include 14. And need to salary match, which means Marcus Smart gets included and a cheap asset.

Marcus Smart + 14 would be say worth Kuzma or Ball (depending how you value each) from Lakers and DSJ from NYK.

Now it all depends how bad they want AD. Knicks have Mitch, Knox, Trier. Lakers have BI, Zo or Kuz & Hart. Celtics have Jaylen Brown, Grizzlies protected 2020, 20th pick and 22nd pick.

It was always a 3 team race for AD. Celtics and Knicks packages got worse and the Lakers got better. I don't think a smart GM like Griffin is intentionally going to take the worst package of the 3.

RJ isn’t it.
I know Griff know that.

Let the Knicks take him and draft Culver/Garland/whoever ya want at 4.

I wonder if the Suns try to get Zo again with the #6 pick or get in there with a 3 way trade. They got shafted the worst tonight.
