Lol pelicans already on their way to losing their next franchise player. I'm glad we're not gutting the team but they're so dumb especially if they take the Knicks offer
Cry.

If this report is true then the owner is even dumber than i thought, How does blocking a team who's willing to give up favorable assets help the Pels cause. If people know your not doing business with the Lakers your just asking to get lowballed
at this rate it's gonna take less than two years before #freeZion becomes a thing. The spurs did this exact same thing now they're stuck in purgatory for the next couple of years
Shid, I'm just telling the truth. The truth that they don't want to hear, so they make up stuff. Just like the media.

How are they dumb? AD would've been a Laker if it wasn't for clown *** LeBron and Rich Paul
I don't even want to gut the team for him and I hope we don't
It’s in the first few sentences. “This was before she hired David griffin”
It’s been said that griffin only took the job if the ownership wasn’t gonna get emotional and limit his ability to beat improve the team. So if he values Ingram a lot, he will get his way
Don't buy the notion that the Lakers, should they be banished from the Anthony Davis sweepstakes if new Pelicans vice president David Griffin refuses to trade Davis to a Western Conference team, will shrug their collective shoulders and walk away from the trade market altogether, content to let the likes of Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma and Lonzo Ball continue their growth.
The Lakers' season collapsed after the pursuit of Davis, and the team's young players felt hung out to dry. There's not much chance Los Angeles wants to bring that group back intact.
The Lakers have other players they're targeting in trades, according to league sources. Chief among them is Wizards guard Bradley Beal, though with the Wizards not yet hiring a front office honcho, no decision has been made whether to trade Beal. But LA will be in position to make an attractive offer if Beal is put on the block.
There's also interest in point guard Kyle Lowry, who could be available if the Raptors lose Kawhi Leonard in free agency. Because of Lowry's age (33) and contract ($33 million for next season), the Lakers could bring him in for a relatively limited outgoing package.
Another guy who, according to sources, the Lakers have an interest in is big man Derrick Favors. The Jazz have a team option on Favors that must be exercised by July 6 or he will be a free agent.
I read the article. Owner still sounds hellbent on not trading AD to the Lakers, while Griffin would be more open but would have to convince the owner.
What am I missing?
Read it again bro . Griffin is reporting directly to Benson and Benson doesn't want to deal with the Lakers
Hinkie had a skill in flipping players before the book was out on them while Colangelo waited to last minute and had to give up assetsWhat’s it matter if you trade for some second round picks if you aren’t around to make these picks?
Cry.

Yea I agree with that. People (the media) tend to pin the current make up of the team on Hinkie and that’s not the case. Hinkie got the assets, Colangelo got the bag and fumbled it smhI get that, let’s give him props if those picks materialize into rotation guys. Dudes get picked in the second round every year, B
