Maybe but what about Tatum/brown/rozier + spellman/Adams and three additional picks that need playing time? Same concept. Not to mention all those other picks Boston couldn't do anything with because there aren't enough minutes/touches to go around

I think with defined roles for the young guys it would've worked out.
Kyrie and Hayward pulled a Rick James "Nice place" on em :lol

Why not? Don't they have enough young players they're trying to develop all at once? They should learn from the situation in Boston
Not even remotely similar

Whoever they'd pick at 8/10 could easily turn out being just as good as whoever gets taken at 4. All these prospects on the same tier. If there is someone they really like that they think might not make it to 8, I could see them using 8 and 17 to move up. Makes no sense whatsoever to use all 3 though.

So two things with that article

1) Davis has made it clear that he doesn't wanna play in boston
2) On top of him saying that your plan to convince him on staying is Jaylen Brown, 33yr old Horford & New Chandler Parsons.....:lol:

As far as the Pels go... they would be getting nothing other than Tatum... Smart & late first rounders... Setting them up for years of not being bad enough to get good picks, but not good enough to be anything more than a fringe playoff team.

They literally had this same exact strategy with AD & you see where it got them

1) I don't think Danny gives a sh*t. He's probably arrogant enough to believe he can change his mind with a good experience ala Kawhi.
2) I highly doubt this is even plausible without some sort of guarantee from Kyrie that he's willing to return. Or possibly some other move none of us are hip to.

And then if Kawhi decided to leave after 1 year like he might do to Toronto, you guys would be clowning Ainge.

But the Kyrie trade was good even tho he's leaving..? And don't try to say it's different because one cost IT and the other cost Waldo faldo . And if they did make that trade yall would've been popping **** the second it went down and all season long so don't even try it . Celtics would probably be in the finals right now. Feels good to have Boston get their turn to get exposed in the media tho. Laughing stock :rofl::rollin

this is where i have to disagree, Danny criticism this entire time for PG, Jimmy, Kawhi etc etc was that he wasn't willing to part with his "assets" or he was trying to play hardball with other GM's. Now suddenly he's gonna do a complete 180 on that idea and trade his best asset for a guy who has literally went out his way to let it be known he doesn't want to play there? I just don't see it.

Even with Kyrie, The media & fans just spent the past few months blaming him for the team not getting to the next level & him being a horrible leader... and that's what their gonna sell to AD?

For letting go of Jaylen ****in Brown.........:lol:. Lakers fans were "delusional" for not wanting to trade 3-4 guys of the core for AD. But genius GM Ainge didn't want to include Brown in a trade for AD.........

Again as i've stated plenty of times before i take all these "reports" with a grain of salt, but there is no way the Spurs offer you a trade CENTERED around Jaylen Brown for Kawhi & not do that 100 times out of 100.

If this has truth to it Danny ainge is a bigger fool than i thought & so are the Spurs. All i know Danny better come out of this summer with something because it would be complete & utter "INCOMPETENCE" to literally have years of high lottery picks, promising young talent & Cap room... and at the end of it all you have to show for it was a ECF trip against a depleted Cavs team & a rebuild just four years later.

Not after all this talk of his "wizardry" in the front office, NAH that can't be it.

He's definitely scrambling. Things ain't progressing like he had planned. But I've always understood AD to be Danny's ultimate target so I don't think anyone is off limits.

Pop handicapped the Spurs in a Leonard trade idc what anyone says.

Tatum or Ingram + hella picks would have the Spurs next 5 year outlook looking way better than DeKobe + LMA competing for playoff spots.

I know Pop is old and didn’t want to go through a rebuild but what a dumb ******* trade.
