I dont know how cba rules apply but is it possible that KD declined his player option so that the warriors could offer him the max?

Everybody down here thinks they can do it... It's insane.

By and large, yeah. There's some spots throughout Texas that still cook like they're in their backyard smoker that are FANTASTIC... But if a BBQ spot's going for the big-time restaurant vibe, it's probably trash.

I like Terry Black’s in Austin and Killeen’s in Pearland

Would there be any financial reason for KD to opt out? Or does this mean he’s for sure leaving?

Cuz if so, I’m heading to Savoy right now. I already called out just in case

You got me considering calling out from work too smfh :smh:

I expect Kanter to be getting more than the 14-15 mil folks are predicting, especially considering that’s what mosgov got years back to play -5 minutes a game.

Kanter showed out in the playoffs, gobbling offensive rebounds and scoring with what seemed like a destroyed shoulder. Recency bias is going to get him at least 20 a year

Possible, of course. Opting out is the only way to get the supermax.

Will they offer it to him? Likely. They don't have a choice.

Is he going to turn it down and leave anyway? Indubitably.

It's whatever. No matter what our records are or what players we have, it'd be like choosing the Mets over the Yankees.

If you really want to go spend your prime with what's basically an expansion team, go head.

You can feel the hurt in this. So to answer the question, yes it would be a bad look for the Knicks.

The Nets have a lot of amazing things going for them to sell to people.

Amazing front office
Amazing medical staff (KDs doctor works with the Nets)
Great amenities
Takes care of players
Really rich owners
Etc

I live in Jersey. Bunch of Nets fans out here who travel across the river to see Nets play. More would go if they get a star. I’ll def attend more Bets games. I low key hope Nets don’t get a star though because Nets tickets are currently super cheap. Barclays Center is dope.

I dig Killens... Most of the best places in Texas are out in the middle of nowhere - as they should be. Most of the places in the outskirts make a set amount every night/morning and close when it's gone.

If you're cooking BBQ in mass quantities or you got set service hours, you're probably not the spot. :lol
I used to feel the same until I went to San Antonio. Eye opening
If you drew a circle around Waco, Austin, San Antonio and Houston, most of the best BBQ spots in the state are somewhere inside that circle.
