Whiteside is one of the more confusing players in the league. He’ll get 24/15 with 4 blocks one game and then 8/7 the next. Idk why the heat yo-yo’ed his playing time so much last year

He's a matchup specific player. He gets killed in the pick-and-roll and if you're playing against a team with good guards, they can just play him off the court. If you're playing against a team with traditional big men who stay in the paint, he can play all game. Not to mention, he tends to pout when he doesn't get touches.

His numbers are usually empty. He gives up buckets constantly and those blocks usually don't make up for it. He also hates passing Dude is an airhead to top it off, I think Spoelstra really had a hard time dealing with him/trying to make him play within their schemes but it wasn't happening.
