It really depends how close you are to the epicenter. I remember the 1994 Northridge quake vividly, which was 6.4. That one was way more intense for me than today because we were right on the fault line.

Nah. Looks like about a 300 mile radius from the epicenter though. Felt all the way from Vegas to San Diego.

It was near bakersfield, I think. So between LA and SF. My brother is in town from SF and his girl’s fam said they felt it

Same in DC back in 2011. It was a 5.8 but that **** might as well had been a 10.8 if you were born and raised in this region and never felt the ground move ever.

To make matters worse...i was at work about 4 blocks down from the White House. So my initial thought was some Red Dawn **** was about to pop off.
