I remember a dude telling me to go to West Hollywood gay bars because they always have a lot of straight females. I told him you know what else has straight females....regular bars. My girls cousin is gay. We visited San Fran last month and he took us to a gay bar.
In my head I'm like whatever cause you always hear about women going to dance so I'm thinking mixed crowd.. WRONG!
Nothing but guys, and I was off an edible. Never experienced anything so awkward in my life.
I literally hugged my girl the whole time and was flinching at everything. (Guys trying to pass by)
My girl in there cracking up. I was legit bugging, but I thought I handled it well.
Apparently not, cause her cousin said it was a disaster.
In my defense, that was my 1st time at that type of bar & there were legit no girls.

Years ago when he was on the Suns, I had a friend who had just gotten a promotion to run the Gordon Biersch in Phoenix.(he was the Assistant Manager of the one in San Jose, Cali) During his first week Amare and his entourage came and ate and my boy pretty much took care of them personally, made sure everything was up to par, gave them 5 star treatment.
He didn't tip at all and he called the Regional Manager the next day, essentially telling him that the food was wack and how he shouldn't have to pay for it and his entourage chimed in with other complaints.
Sent my boy back on a plane to Cali real quick, to the same room he shared with his frat boys
This dude is by far one of the nicest people I've ever met too
