Regarding the Nike LeBron Jersey situation, why would people spend money on the current one when they know it's gonna be outdated in a year? Why not just let him switch and sell 23 at clearance?

Think of how many jerseys (especially swingman) that would clearanced out and then have to go into production just to make this work. Nike isn’t gonna throw away money like that. Pay full price and full price again next year

I think plenty of fans will buy a James 23 knowing it’s the last year to get it. I don’t think anyone that grabbed a Kobe 8 jersey was upset. If it was a regular player that’s different. For iconic players, they can get away with it.

Yeah, there was always a bunch of people in Kobe 8 jerseys even after he switched. Still see them around. Some people probably like the idea of it being “retro”. I’m sure that would be true of a LeBron number switch too.

Mike dunleavy Clips contract was the best by far and Rich Paul is not working for free.

As some others have said he's either looking out for LBJ or his personal commission is higher with the NYK deal (which might be the case as it's a significantly higher salary for only 1 year as opposed to the other deals).

some creative concepts, moved away from rounded shapes and corners to more straight/line-based images. somewhat reminded me of WNBA/XFL logos. imo the mavs and nuggets should consider adapting elements of this guy's mockups. the mavs current logo is mehh as hell; while that retro look is dope.
