I mean Boston clearly wasn't a championship contender and were a 4th/5th seed the entire season... Going to the Nets W/o KD for the year isn't gonna make a drastic difference in how the season finishes they'll be OK

Kyrie
Levert
Harris
Prince
Allen

Dinwiddie, Temple & Deandre off the bench.. they'll be in the running again for a 4-6 seed.

Kyrie must’ve really disliked Boston and/or badly wanted to be in NY if he was willing to sign that deal knowing KD would’ve in be playing the upcoming season.

Ainge was on the radio this morning saying him and Kyrie regularly spoke and that Kyrie floated the idea of going back "home" to play on a few occasions around March.

Yeah people forget, before Levert got hurt he was putting up numbers!! I like Spencer a lot off the bench and Lumber Joe has the ratchet. 4-5 seed for sure in the east

I guess now that Russ is officially in Houston, KD felt safe to come back to OKC; ran into dude at the discount grocery store last night

Groupie...

You mean to tell me you can work on your game and play FIBA?

Wasn’t it a thing for a while where guys who played in big international tournaments in the Summer would have great NBA seasons afterward? Like, it was considered that playing Team USA could help advance a guy’s NBA career. That’s kind of gone away a bit.

Tatum is going to be an all-star this season, think he takes that next step. Losing Horford was big tho. Celtics finish at 5th seed

Definitely was an attributes boost which is why I don’t why crocodile Rondo won’t do it.

Yea that was a thing, although i think that was moreso based solely on the USA team considering they usually had the top NBA players for those few weeks. I don't know if that's viewed the same for these other international teams as most of them don't have Top tier NBA talent.
