Why would he have to play the 2?
It's not the Big 3, there are other combinations and ways to get him on the floor without him having to play in the back court. But if it came down to it, sure he could play the 2 depending on who's on the other side of the ball.

When he was healthy he was one of the better defenders in the league. If he gets back to 90-100% I'm not worried about him on that end.

I think The Celtics have a reasonable shot at a 4 seed in the East... Stevens has gotten teams to overachieve... with that said they have no semblance of rim protection and are gonna be food come playoff time

1) Javale Mcgee was a serviceable starting Center the majority of last year
2) rondo is known for having one of the Best basketball IQ's in the NBA... JR & Lance are known for the complete opposite
Also, Lance can help a team in spot minutes but i rather those minutes be given to THT this year.
