Official 2019 NYK offseason thread. Brooklyn knick fans check in

ok cool. i was under the impression that the majority of the thread didn't want him here, for some odd reason. the issue with the "max" nowadays that pretty much any all star is going to the the "max". money is just so freely thrown around the league, since the cap went up.

Tobi is nice, he ain’t coming here either :lol

I don't want him here :lol The problem with maxing FAs is that the prime FAs will get maxed anywhere they go and the ones that sign here will sign because we're offering a max. I can't remember a time where a prime max FA signed with a lottery team. If we sign 2 max spots the landscape of the team changes again as the youth becomes expendable for win now mode.

Dude didn’t complain at all coming off the bench in Houston and was beginning to settle into his role

The reality is that he just became a wildly inefficient shooter

Pringles used him as a scapegoat and was just getting revenge for what happened here. at least thats how it seemed to me. he was only on the team for like 10 games. its also hard to become a spot up shooter, when you've been getting your shots in rhythm your entire career.

Not really... he was shooting 40 percent in the 10 games he played for houston. He had like 26 in his last game with them and he was benched cause they ran a 8 man rotation at the beginning of the season and had no offensive plan.

Houston didn't pick up until they went back to doing what they did the last 2 years... give harden the ball and clear the lane...

Look at what lebron did to JR smith... the man couldn't create a shot in an empty gym his last 2 seasons...
