It is crazy now, because AD has been in the league for a minute and Mitch is a rookie.
However, if mitch develops and fulfills his potential, he will potentially be better than AD.
Let that man put some more muscle and start imposing his will offensively, who will be able to stop him? Another freak!

He’s not the fluid athlete that AD is. He is sort of goofy the way he runs and changes direction so that limits his offensive potential.
Personally I don’t think he’ll ever be great offensively but his offensive potential is higher than Deandre’s for example. I mean if we get a Deandre out of him I couldn’t ask for more.

Mitch will never be AD, but I get what he’s saying. Defensively the drop off is not much if any down the line, and with 2 max slots and arguably top offensive players (Kyrie, KD) in the league we won’t need ADs offense as much.
I’m more concerned with how injury prone he is.

Don’t want AD at all. Y’all really wanna give up Mitch to pay someone $35 mil per year to get hurt all the time? I’d rather not max out 3 players.

If you max 2 you kinda have no choice to blow it all up as far as player development goes. If as in if, KD signed hell be 31 next season. His window is as wide as it's gonna get at this point. I'm willing to take the draft pick and sees what happens. Chemistry needs to be built and people don't seem to acknowledge this and it can take a few years. Chemistry had Draymond playing like an all star and now that splash brothers no longer exist he's not playing as well.

Idk if we can afford to bring him back, but Hezonja and his irrational confidence has been entertaining. He always has a good attitude, even when Fiz benched him. If he could only shoot consistently he’d be a decent role player w some upside in the NBA

Him and Dot gotta stay. Fiz’s rotations are all over the place, and they’ve continued to be professionals and ready to play.
The only reason I really don’t want AD, is because I don’t think we NEED him. I’d rather have an above average supporting cast, like the Raptors and Bucks do, than 3 all stars and 12 scrubs. Not saying we have those guys yet, but Knox can definitely learn from KD and so can DSJR from Kyrie/Kemba. DJ and Mitch should be our centers next season, with Kornet getting some minutes here and there to stretch the floor. Trier can be our spark off the bench. Frank can just come in to play off the ball and defend. Starting over chemistry wise will also be difficult. Don’t wanna pay Mudiay or Vonleh either.
