Bron and AD have leveled up, with the role players contributing.

Not even Jokic and Murray firing on all cylinders can match up in a theoretical matchup.

at OKC willing to take bench players in return for cp3

they hold all the leverage in any cp3 deal. that is unless cp3 vehemently states he wants out.
Bucks are financially screwed already, theyve already commiteed to spending.

It depends on what OKC wants to do. They may be looking to offload Chris Paul's contract and rebuild. Frankly, This magical run they had this season is most likely this team's ceiling. The whole point of the Russell Westbrook and Paul George trades was to amass picks and build for the future. Paying Chris Paul, no matter how good he is, $40m for the next couple of years most likely isn't in there plans.

I can totally see them trading CP3 for bench players and (more importantly) picks

So what motivation does OKC have to do this?

Doesn't make them better in the short term or long term

Then u have to think CP Prbly tired of getting moved around will be the 3rd time in 4 years.
He knows if the Bucks fail in 2021 Giannis is leaving and he will get moved again

For one they're definitely trading cp3. They drafted bledsoe so there's that angle. They have more picks than they need and would probably get another one from Milwaukee. Could use those picks to move bledsoe if they wanted. Hill would be a solid vet for a young team. They don't need to hit a home run with a cp3 trade and there aren't any home run trades for him. They just need to move him. Break that huge contract down into more manageable pieces that they can work with.

OKC are the ones with the leverage at this point. Small market team that already has a ton of future picks could easily just hold on to him for a bit longer, win games, and wait out for teams to get really desperate. I don't think they NEED to trade him right at this moment whatsoever.

As far as Milwaukee goes, I would need every possible pick they could give, starting in 2022, and White Donte. Bledsoe/Hill/Ilyasova would hold zero value for me since they make my team worse immediately and are all over 30.

I'd rather see if I could get a package from PHI instead.

I can pretty much guarantee he's getting traded to Milwaukee

Dude should be terminated behind this TBH.

What an awful take invoking Bron of all people.

Bron should do it only if the sheriff matches Bron's $250K donation to LA hospital workers.

Then we'll see what's what.
HBCU’s, or donate to Black Lives Matter. Let’s see ALL police orgs do this, then come and ask for LeBron’s assistance.

OKC should be willing to take any bad contract they can for CP3 if it gets them even more draft capital. if you take bledsoe, hill, and ilyasova, take milwaukee's picks in 2022 and beyond after giannis leaves. no picks, no Paul.

This is definitely the move. This is why OKC was so smart in the Paul George and Westbrook trades. They control the Clippers and Rockets drafts when those Stars will be well into their 30s or playing on a different team.

Right. You want picks from old teams on the way down. Not young teams on the way up like Sacramento and Memphis
