Who would want CP?
Sicers
Bucks

Thays it?

Those are the most likely/feasible. I don't really see any other eastern teams being in the mix. Miami willjust continue using Dragic and bank Herro/Nunn's growth.

Minnesota would be good for CP to mentor DLo and KAT, but Minny doesn't have the assets. Clippers could use a guy that can create shots for others...

My dark horse is still Denver. It would take some combination of Barton, Harris, Plumlee, Millsap. Not sure how plausible it is, but it's a solid scheme fit. Depends how willing Denver is to push chips in, or just continue natural growth of their young players. A potential CP/Murray/MAGA P/Grant/Jokic lineup is kinda stacked.

There's zero chance Chris Paul starts next season on the Thunder's roster

same was said prior to this season.. although I agree he gets moved, but that more so has to do with the market that should be there between the 6ers, bucks and potentially 1 or 2 others

All I am saying is they don't NEED to take a potentially not so great deal from Milwaukee RIGHT NOW just because they have contracts that can make a trade work. Let's just see how it plays out. They have all of the leverage.

yup.. thunder can wait to see who blinks between certain teams.. the thought was before this season they’d have to attach a pick to move him.. I assume they’re willing to suck, so take back contracts to get picks

bucks and 6ers gotta do something and we’ll see how things work out for couple other teams

I think that'd be terrible for denver. Their window to fake compete is wide open. Cp3 would drastically shorten it

It is a stressful job they willingly signed up for. That is also the reason the police should WANT to keep the departments free of accusations, just so they can receive the benefit of the doubt. Since they are seemingly refusing to do as such? They are indeed the masters of their own fate.

the thing about police work is not that as simple as black and white that a commoner would think. it is complicated. point is, there is no written black or white. there is a gray area that plays in their job given the situation except when the are involve in a criminal action which is downright no gray area. a commoner would typically easily judge someone according to what they see and not what they know, that is the reality. like I said, given the circumstances of actions made which is either lawful and unlawful. the commoner is not a judge to easily say that the particular person is right or wrong. on most occasions, people let their feelings get the best of them rather than logic, except george floyd's case. that particular case is evidently murder caught on video. as far as my opinion on the matter, the U.S. police force in general, needs serious restructuring and reform.

Assuming you keep Murray, Porter, Harris, Jokic, your window to "fake compete" stays open. Barton/Plumlee/Millsap aren't significantly shifting that either way. CP may "shorten" the window, but it at least pushes you in a direction. You either make a run during his 2 years and free up cap space after or you stay the 3-4 seed for the next 4 years and hope to make a run with a roster you know is 3rd/4th best in your conference and could be pushed further down based on other teams FA moves.

Your line of commoner is insulting to those of us who have had war waged against us, since 1619. The modern police force was created to keep Black people in check, and those of us who are the descendants of African slaves in this country know all too well of what is indeed common. This fact was highlighted in the film 13th.

denver has a capable swingman in will barton
had to check their team salary right quick

totally forgot about will barton.

but man, they could very well lose milsap, plumlee, craig and bol bol this summer

Denver needs a shot blocker, another athletic big with length who can help Jokic with more muscle and can alter shots on defense. Milsap at PF ain't it and they certainly dont need no CP3 lol.

If Denver wins tonight, y'all will see how the Lakers will expose the Nuggets soft interior defense inside the paint.

Barton isn't going to be the guy that puts them over though. He's capable but that's not enough to make them a true title contender. Jokic initiates the offense enough and Murray works off the dribble where adding CP3 can dilute their impact.

Bol Bol just got drafted by them, he's not going anywhere

Some kind of package of MPJ/Harris/picks/ first born for Beal would be great. Not sure about the feasibility

Before this epic collapse hopefully takes place tonight, we should all just take a minute to reflect how absolutely wrong the NT experts have been about the entire Clips/Lakers dynamic from jump up until now. I don't know if there's enough room for all the quotes that are in the chamber for tonight.

For all that’s transpired Houston could’ve just kept CP3, to me, he isn’t the reason it didn’t work.

there were definitely flaws in the system that need addressing, but I feel like everyone who discusses CPs final year in Houston doesn't remember what his last games looked like. It was night and day from the CP3 we saw this past season. The man was struggling to score on Jonas Jerebko and Kevon Looney.

My last gripe on this, because people always say "CP in Houston didn't work". It did work. They went 65-17. the 2017-2018 team is a championship team in a lot of different seasons. It just happened to be in a season that had an all time team.
