Wouldn't the Laker fans want the Clippers to win? So they can beat the Clippers and erase all doubt of who's better? Especially since the Lakers have been rolling and the Clippers have looked bad all Playoffs?

Well if they go out in the 2nd rd we will also know who's better. Win win for us. Them losing tonight would bring even more chaos than us smacking them around next rd.

nope. simple risk reward. if clips lose, lakers fans can resort to "you couldn't even make it, so by default you weren't good enough". probably easier on the nerves than the outside chance the clippers beat the lakers, however likely/unlikely that may be.

Exactly. Clippers fans and media members can't back off their picks now. The Clippers went from prohibitive favorites to just a pretty good team very quickly. all I'm saying is that the Clippers better win this game tonight or I'm spending several hours of my work day tomorrow digging up old comments, tweets and video clips (all the way from last July until now) telling us the Clippers are the best team in the league by far. This thread is going to get very ugly if the Clippers lose tonight. I'm just warning you guys now

DEN wasn't supposed to be able to matchup with them and neither was DAL but both of them were competitive series. Bottom line the Clippers aren't what y'all thought they were. Turns out you can't just turn on a switch after playing a dozen games together. Been telling y'all all season that the Lakers chemistry and continuity would pay dividends but nobody wanted to listen. So in the sense that usually matchups make fights in the playoffs, for the Dippers thus far that hasn't proven to be true.
I'm here for whatever scenario brings the most chaos and them losing tonight and choking away another 3-1 lead brings that.

The only thing this version of the "scary" "Championship Caliber" Clipper "Basketball Team" has shown is how Kawhi will never be offered a GM/scout spot since he built a team worse than last years team and had 3 choices and chose the worst possible scenario for himself.
Let's forget the lakers as one of those choices. Dude literally had Canada offering to take care of him for life. How do you not just buy a house in toronto, don't have to live there and whenver we see you in cali just be like " I'm an LA boy at heart, but I win chips with Toronto."

If the Clippers can't beat the Nuggets to advance to the Western conference Finals, then the Clippers have already erased all doubt who's better.
I want the Clippers to lose tonight solely for slander purposes, I'm not really concerned about a matchup with either team. The Lakers are better than both the Nuggets and the Clippers
