initially I was in agreement with a lot of the athletes who said the restart was a "distraction" to the large movement, and perhaps it was. but the fact that the restart happened and now these men could possibly choose to permanently halt the playoffs is an even larger statement.

Bron is all talk and no action

Oh.

The NBA won’t let it get to the point if individual teams deciding what games to boycott or not...If they get wind of that they’ll come out with an announcement “postponing the playoffs to work with the players” or some message like that

lf

how? everything was going well and making a statement, they can't control what goes on in the world

sucks with the GF murder being known around the world you would think the BS would stop yet here we are again.

As was discussed prior to this bubble materializing, the gestures of putting black matter lives on the court and league sanctioned jersey messages were not enough. We acknowledged the players were in a tough spot because them not going would have put the immediate future of the league be in jeopardy largely because of the threat of the owners' ability to rip up the CBA.

We know what the league is capable of doing and what influence they can yield. Don't just use the players as vessels for profit and entertainment. Take what they're saying and asking for you seriously.

Oh.

I’m wit all of it! This is why the NBA is the best league in world!

Oh.

Is it coming out of his own bank account? Dont think so. Using our taxpayer money and taking all the credit.

This is smart. Maintains that the players are serious about their resolve, keeps the NBA within the movement, and allows the games to take a backseat until its appropriate.

end of the day, the players didn't have to agree to going?...

Oh.

Dudes are weird man

Brons a beast on the court, but i do find him to be annoying af and whiny.

With all that said, off the court dudes done a lot of great things.

Hes not playing tonight, regardless if the game is postponed or not.

Magic / Bucks protest because of another black man killed at the hands of police ............

........ 100 posts about Bron doing or not doing enough

makes sense

This def gotta wake the owners up. The bubble is just the prequel to the next season that will eventually have fans in seats. These dudes not gonna lose that ticket and concession money if players protest by not even coming to games.

no more of that supportive silence ********. a lot of these owners have political affiliations that they keep quiet so they're not exposed. Some things are bigger than money
