It still happened the way it should have. People went with their natural reactions. Had they went the other route, there’s a chance that walkoff/boycott doesn’t even happen, and you’ll have something safe and goofy like turning your shirts inside out.

Oh I'm not denying it. Just trying to say I'm real time there was confusion because everybody was caught off guard. MIL should be given nothing but praise for their actions. But that's why they had to end up having all the meetings subsequently.

As many of you know I'm a huge fan of the LAKERS/CLIPPERS/BUCKS/CELTS/RAPTORS/ ROCKETS/THUNDER/JAZZ/HEAT/DODGERS/YANKEES/ RED SOX/ASTROS/FEDERER/NADAL/DJOCKOVIC/OSAKA/SERENA/USA WOMEN'S SOCCER/MESSI/RONALDO/MAVERICKS/ KAWHI/JIM HARDEN/ANTHONY DAVIS/ZION/LUKA FAN and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Patrick Beverly is a CONSERVATIVE, HE WILL VOTE TRUM 2020, and Roberts owes HIM AN APOLOGY FOR FAKE NEWS. Even if the news was real, it was locker room talk.

To be fair, you could attribute any awful quote to Pat and everyone would believe it. :lol

But when 5 players who were in the meeting are coming out and saying it’s a lie and Haynes hasn’t come out to say anything to defend his reputation as a reliable reporter....i’m gonna go with he didn’t say it.

We can’t sit here and say the media been on some BS then run with a Pat Bev story that smells like BS.

pat Bev is a trickster but come on now

You’re misreading the conversation, and conflating different points. HIM HIM is actually a big time Bron fan, too . But that’s besides the point.

Milwaukee took a stand. They didn’t ask anybody else to do so. That’s what they felt. And rightfully so.

The rest of the league or whoever is not obligated to follow up. And Milwaukee does not owe it to them to give them a heads up. The rest of the league in good faith backing up what Milwaukee was doing should be a good thing. There needs to be no “face” or anything of it. LeBron backing that is GOOD, because of who he is, and his platform.

It’s pretty simple. What this has spiraled out into is media spin cycle and pr wars. Milwaukee def has gotten *****-Ed on. When they were in fact, in the right.

The direction this is going in 48 hours is such a deviation from the intended purposes. This is not about slander. Just keep it honest with yourself, on what’s been happening the last couple hours.

The media’s part in this is probably the saddest. And you could see it from the jump. Integrity at an all time low.

I generally agree with what you're saying but I think we all know it's probably unfair to say "The rest of the league or whoever is not obligated to follow up." Once Milwaukee did that, it was a wrap which as you said is a good thing because it shows solidarity.

I also think that while there shouldn't be a "face", we'd again be kidding ourselves to think that Bron's decision wouldn't force the decision either way. When we heard Lakers and Clips walked out, everyone in here was saying the season was over. The next day it comes out that Bron is on board with continuing and hours later the league announces play will resume.

I've seen some of the narrative spin where the Bucks are negatively painted and I can't rock with that. AT ALL. I also see the narrative shift you and others have have been alluding to. Who knows what is true anymore but if you look at the tweets about LeBron wanting an actionable plan, there is actually has a point. If they did have a plan from the jump, we would talking about that instead of the alleged dissension in the ranks, trying to figure out what the players want and what results are going to come from this. Bron is the GOAT narrative builder and could have aided in that.

At the end of the day, I'm a firm believer that a goal can be achieved many different ways. There's no golden path, especially in the fight against social injustice so I commend the Bucks for taking the first step in the right direction.

You think the players are going to come out and say it's true? That'd be a terrible look. They have lied all the time about stuff and we've gotten confirmation that what happened actually ended up happening. Clippers in particular been notorious for this.

I feel like if it is true, they’d just stay silent about it. But if players (including those from other teams) said it was cap, I’m more inclined to believe the people that were there vs the media
