Yeah, I'm sure Garnett's knee and Perkins' knee had nothing to do with that.
Not to mention 37 free throws for the Lakers in game 7 to Boston's 17.
Not to mention 6 free throw attempts in the 4th quarter for Boston and 21 for the Lakers.

Yao Ming's injury which caused him to miss games 4-7.
Gasol and them barely squeezed by Luis Scola and Aaron Brooks.
They're lucky they had home-court for game 7.

I just want to see a good series. On another note. I’m all but certain this finals is going to have the first Saturday NBA Finals game since 1981 if this thing goes at least 5.

Not in the ECF with out him sure. That was 7 games ago...Only played 2.5 games in the ecf tho. And one was a blowout. They aren't right here, with that trophy, without mid, jrue and Brooke tho

in 08 the lakers were down ariza in the finals due to a foot injury and was a huge part of the team.
2010 bynum was playing on a torn meniscus the entire playoffs, while perkins was injured in game 6 of the finals.
so the lakers were lucky that they played a better 82 game season to earn home court advantage?

He ran CP3 out because he wanted to hold Harden accountable, now CP3 on his way to the finals. PJ and Capela made it further than Harden. Crazy but it's true.

He ran CP3 out cause when the chips were on the line, CP3 either wasn’t available, or was too fat and bloated to beat Kevon Looney and Jonas Jerebko off the dribble. If Paul had gone vegan a year earlier, he wouldn’t have been shipped out. Paul, Harden, MDA, and Morey are all to blame for that.

You're trying to downplay Perkins' injury because it happened in game 6? What does that even me? Are you implying that it wasn't that bad because he only missed one game?
So Perkins missing game 7 of a series that came down to the wire was irrelevant but Trevor Ariza missing game 1 of a series that was a complete ***-whooping is somehow relevant?
What the hell was Trevor Ariza going to do to stop that 2008 ***-whooping?
I can tell you what Perkins was going to do to change game 7. The Lakers won that game because of two reasons:
1) The refs screwed them in the fourth quarter with that 21:6 joke of a free throw attempts disparity in the fourth quarter and 37:17 for the game.
2) The Lakers out-rebounded Boston 53-40.
Kendrick Perkins would have affected the rebounding gap.
On another note, that 2008 game 7 vs. Boston is eerily similar to the 2000 Western Finals vs. Portland.
2000 West Finals:
37:16 total free throw difference
18:4 fourth quarter free throw difference
2008 Finals:
37:17 total free throw difference
21:6 fourth quarter free throw difference
Between Shaq and David Stern, the amount of unearned, free rings that were handed to Brick-Boy-B is sickening.
