I’m still befuddled by Book’s blatant disappearance, not concerned with his not shooting well, but just the overall disappearance. This the same dude that was “anointed” but crying about double teams in a pick up game because he hadn’t been to the playoffs, well now he’s in the finals, and dude went ghost, whether it was his or Monty’s decision, it just doesn’t make sense.
I was starting to think he said something wild to Monty and he just benched him. The guy’s a scorer, can easily get 15+ in a quarter. Would’ve played him the 4th and told him to take at least 10shots early. If it’s still outta reach at the 6 min mark, pull everybody.

Wondering where CP3's ALpha juice was last night.

I was under the impression teams lead by Alphas wouldn't allow their opponents to make 14+ Threes.

A 20 point loss in the FINALS?

That's what these aggressively vocal leaders are allowing these days?

Interesting.

Especially the liberal ones.

I said the Bucks should've felt good after game 2.

Suns should be a little worried, they have zero answers for Gannis and they are getting physically dominated.
and I think Gannis has finally realized he's a big. he's not letting defenders off the hook. and hes bullying people on the block.

Booker will play better, but he's not Kobe, you can't count on him to be lights out consistently

I still think Suns have more talent, but it won't matter if Gannis is putting up 40 pieces.

interesting to see if suns mix it up and start sending help early and often
unfortunately, giannis is such a great passer, the bucks will continue to get open looks. keep cutting and making the right pass and they will be able to pick apart the suns defense.

jae shot 6/7 from three. he's due for a clunker the next two gms

Shouldn't both teams be worried?
after game 2,
I think the bucks the strategy is right, the scheme is right, they the have the people to win.
they are slight underdogs imo but they can do this.

for the suns, I don't know what they can do about Gannis.
I would say have your perimeter players dig in more and try and create turnovers on his drives.

but gannis has stopped trying to barrell in from the perimeter and is starting his drives closer to the rim,
he's also been passing better.

so I don't know if that will work. just seems like Suns Gannis problem can't be solved by just playing better.

He is young.

This is his first finals apperance.

This is his FIRST playoff apperance.

This is his FIRST ROAD finals appearance.

He has had a very good playoff run overall.

He will be fine. If not, oh well. He will eventually figure it out.

So, it does make sense.

I get what you’re saying Mr. AllAfrican, but isn’t it the first for a majority of the Suns players tho….

Not to be all Brosizzlew30.23 Brosizzlew30.23 , but I think the size of the Bucks (as well as the injuries) will wear down the Suns as the series goes on. Bucks are beating the Suns up on the offensive boards.

My only thing with that is we can’t expect the team’s most legit threat to play in the 4th to at least give them a shot?
If it wasn't his first, I would understand being more critical but since this is his first time I can't really understand the need/desire tto beat him up about it.

I’m not beating him up tho. I wouldn’t care if he shot 3 for a 100, my thing is did he play in the 4th. He’s a volume shooter so I get it, some nights he’s automatic, some nights he not. I get it is a lot of these guys first time on the big stage and consistency isn’t going to be there, like Bridges had a hell of a game in game 2, not so much last night, cool, but why isn’t the teams best player out there in the 4th?

I agree 100%.

Giannis, Portis, and Lopez might prove too much for Ayton and Crowder down the stretch.

Monty may find that he might have to dig deep in his bench and insert Frank Kaminsky in there to play Portis especially since Saric out for the series

Ngl, I didn’t think Cam was going to boom it, I was like dude should get a decent look for a layup, but the path kept opening.

Is the difference really just Jrue not playing jrunk?

I think people are discounting how lucky Phoenix was in Games 1 & 2:

-Getting all the bounces
-On fire from 3
-Refs weren’t giving Jrue/Middletown America no calls
-Every 50-50 play went their way.

Even with all of that, Bucks didn’t get blown out in either game, and looked like they actually could have stolen Game 2 (Pat’s lazy pass that Aston stole lead to a 3. Bucks were down by 7 with the ball at that point:smh:).

Bucks have started playing to their strengths (working from the inside, out). Giannis has realized that nobody in Orange & Purple can hold him, so he’s deliberately putting tons of pressure on Anton & Crowder.

Suns have to decide what they want to do moving:
-Let Giannis continue to go ham, while neutralizing the other Bucks.
-Send the help or double fast, hoping the other Bucks don’t get hot from outside.

Again, series doesn’t really “start” till a home team loses.
