As far as I knew both him and Miles Bridges were solid guys in that role. Confused why more people didn't want them in the draft.

100% sarcasm. Every year I watch Bridges develop it eats at me.
They did get the Miami pick in that trade and packaged it to get Tobias. They drafted Thybulle that offseason to fill that need. I love Thybulle, but it’s hard to imagine a better fit for this team than Bridges. Sixers we’re in desperate need for an athletic wing defender at that time and squandered it for a guy that played like 17 games in 2-3 years.
Could argue they may not get Harris without that pick and subsequently Thybulle because you already filled that need with Bridges but still.
