Right. LeBron was polarizing even during the Obama years, when everything wasn’t as politicized as it is now. Going to Miami and “The Decision” turned him into a villain for a lot of people.

I don’t doubt there was always at least racial undertones to it for a lot of the people who dislike him, but it’s intensified and gotten more overt as he’s become more politically/socially outspoken.

Get better/bigger on defense and get off Curry's contract in case they decided to make a play this summer in free agency. Sound trade idea just didn't work out.
