I’m as big a laker fan as anyone, but I think it should be deserved, not off strength. And I don’t take chips for granted. I’m good for 4 years off 1 nba chip, 8 off nfl.

i agree 100% but a franchise as great as the lakers shouldn’t retire someone’s number off one title IMO. If he wins 1-2 more then sure but so far (emphasis on so far) it isn’t worthy of that.
