The only thing I can think of is instead of needing three TDs they could theoretically tie the game with two TDs (with two conversions) and a field goal.

You would think that after defense basically kept USC out of the playoffs in that conf champ game, they would have focused on making defense a priority.

I’m certain USC will get smoked again if they meet any of the big dogs from the SEC or Big 10.
