Haven’t had a chance to read that article yet, but JT got given houses by at least two of his transfer schools (I presume this because he got one from Rice and was asking for one from Oregon state and they couldn’t deliver, before he transferred to WVU instead.) Between that and multiple degrees in business he made out ok. The head injuries are horrific but sadly not a unique consequence of the sport.

Since 2021, Clemson has lost 41 players to the transfer portal.

They have only taken 2 transfers in during that time: QBs Hunter Johnson and Paul Tyson who barely played.

Didn’t Johnson leave Clemson for northwestern (and sucked) then went back to Clemson? If I remember correctly he was a pretty highly rated recruit too
