I'm with that. But was talking to someone today and they did bring up the point that they had an extra day to prep, due to playing Friday night, vs Va. Tech.

I agree it wasn’t the best move adding Cal and Stanford to the ACC, but that’s not an excuse.
DBs were exposed last week, Va Tech just happened to also have some success with their running game. Playing a game this late is a factor, but the extra day does kinda counter that.
