Coolidge was 38 when she played that role :evil:

Someone please explain to me how OSU is still ranked 2? They just lost to an unranked team and aren’t even playing for the conference title.

You must be looking at last weeks rankings, they aren’t 2nd in the AP and the CFP hasn’t been released yet

Solid attempt to spin good news bad.

Michigan’s offensive ineptitude was on national display this past weekend.

Actually, no, it's a terrible attempt.

I'm sick for Miami fumbling it on the 1 yard line basically

It's basically set that the loser of the SEC title game will be the seven seed (unless it is a blowout loss or key player gets injured)

Call me crazy but I don't think the CFP committee would want Georgia and Texas to play three times. I think they would do something to move around the seeding to avoid a Georgia versus Texas quarter-final

I know it does against the zeitgeist but I think Ohio State should stick with Ryan Day and even the idea of firing him is ridiculous. I see a lot of parallels between Ryan Day and Kirby Smart. Both were first time coaches taking over talented, Blue blood programs (although OSU was a better situation than Georgia). Both had success early, Blboth made the national title game in year two.

I know it seems like forever ago but there was legitimate chatter in 2019, 2020 and even after losing the SEC title game in 2021 that Kirby would never get it done, he could never be Bama and Kirby would always lose the big game.

Kirby didn't win a championship until year 6. Ryan Day is in year 6 now. Because both Ryan Day and Kirby took over high profile programs, they didn't have the ability to go through the growing pains of a first-time coach at a smaller school. They are learning on the biggest stage possible.

I know everyone is incredibly emotional right now but I don't think it makes sense to fire Ryan Day, especially because there is no one obviously better than him available.
