I think that was the sound of Texas' national title hopes going out the window...

I think I wanna see Florida/Oklahoma.

Both teams have been running up the scores on teams since their losses.

you can already tell they're favoring him, with the way they've been slurping him all game. this is the same +*!* they did for Tebow last year (exceptx100000)

and you have Stoops pimping him in the postgame interview right now, so you already know.

really? they beat the #12 team in the nation on the road by 3 scores

but that 40 point win over a Texas A&M team that won't go to a bowl at home was??

I think the points are impressive, however it really just shows OU's D again proving they can get scored on damn near every drive. I think Oklahoma has aright to be mad, because honestly they do look pretty good. Regardless, the fact still remains they lost to Texas on a neutral field so they have absolutely nobusiness jumping them in any poll what so ever.

^Game was not a three score type game. Stoops has no class. Taking time outs in the end when you already have the game locked down. Texas won by 40 whiletaking Colt out in the beginning of the fourth. We dont run up the score cuz Mack has class. Hopefully the voters watched this game and took Herbstreitsadvise.

That game was not a 3 score game. Oklahoma was up by one score or less for a good portion of the game, it was pretty close. Their defensecouldn't stop OSU's offense hardly at all either. Oklahoma's offense is just disgusting though

and that has to do with what?

it ant OU fault that on a simple run play Okie state just layed down and let them run it in on them.

OU is averaging like 60+ in the last 5 games. if there's any way to "atone" losing to a team, i think they've done it.

I don't really care who gets it, OU or Texas. Both deserve it because both are top 5 teams in the nation. I just worry about Bob Stoops ability to get histeam ready for a big bowl game.

What's the point in bringing up our game against TAMU? We beat both OU and OSU. And if you want to nit pick at the TAMU game, we're the only school tokeep them at single digits.

That's the thing though, when you are comparing teams that have identical records and HAVE played each other with a huge emphasis on the game they playedbeing on a Neutral field then really nothing Oklahoma does matters. They could average 100 a game and it still does NOT matter. They already lost to Texas.Texas Tech is going to be left out of the equation because of the fashion of their loss. When they beat Texas it was at home on a last second brilliant catchby the best receiver in the college game. They got humilated by OU, and although they all have the same record their loss was by so much they fall a tierbehind.

Not to mention Stoops goes far and beyond the term "running up the score" , its sickening really, although i wish Pet Carroll would do a little of itas well instead of turning into the most conservative team in the country when in the 3rd quarter it looks like we are cruising to another lop sided victory.

Pete carrorl doesnt run up the score?

oh, so it's okay for Texas to push the Texas Tech loss to the side, but it's not okay for OU to push the Texas loss aside?

that's what you're saying...

he always does that, running up the score would have been kicking a field goal. Seriously, every game we have that same scenario, he usually goes for it with aweak run up the gut. He did not call a Touchdown throw on that call, looked like a busted play to me with busted results.

Anyone that has watched every Trojan game this year will tell you, all year he goes out of his way to not embarrass the other school.

edit*
No Downtown, thats not exactly what im saying. What im doing is taking the entire picture into consideration. Thats what im doing. Tech lost by a lot, it was ablow out. Texas definitely hasnt been blown out all year, and Oklahoma only lost by 10.
When you have a 3 way tie you have to come up with a creative way to pick a winner (see current BCS scenario), my scenario is very very simple. It says thatsince Tech has a blow out loss they are out. That leaves a two way tie, with the Head to Head going to Texas.

If that Tech Oklahoma gave would have been closer then this scenario gets a lot harder to figure it out, but since it wasnt, and given that they beat Texas onthe last play of the game at home then i think the choice becomes very clear.
