**Official 50 Cent Thread **Street King Immortal Final Album?**

Game > Lloyd Banks

Banks fell off so hard, he's got some solid music but his albums are not Classics. The Documentary is better than his entire catalog.

'My Life' would've been bigger/better IMO if Em wasn't on it. He ruined that song.

Song wasn't gonna be anything but what it was.... trash

50's verses (his 1st verse specifically) were dope. Beat was good. Video was insane. Crossover appeal with Adam Lavine.

There's 2 problems with the song..
1. Eminem was terrible. 50 out shined him.
2. By this point Jimmy Iovine was done with 50. 50 is a big reason for that. He was bigger than the entire label of Interscope for a while, and that had to have pissed Jimmy off to no end when he called him out in public. At the time, Jimmy had no choice because 50 was making Interscope tens of millions, but when his popularity began to drop in 2007, it's when the whole dynamic changed. Jimmy no longer pushed his songs, didn't make him a priority when he still had a draw and as less and less people check for him, he could bring in more money than almost anyone on the hip hop side of Interscope. Jimmy no longer tried to capitalize on anything that had marginal success, so even if 50 got a little bit of steam, if it wasn't 03 Get Rich steam, it was back to the drawing board.

"My Life" got 54 million views on Youtube. "No Lie" by 2 Chainz & Drake which was a much more successful song 56million

50 is no longer top tier in terms of popularity. But he is much more sought after than a vast majority of rappers, even in 2014.

Game biggest hits were songs 50 gifted to him as a favor for Dre LOL

Game will always be a *** for pullin what he pulled....I understand not wanting to be involved in all of fif beef but that man gave you a career
Game's biggest songs were not gifted to him by 50, are u talking commercial success or what u like? Cuz Game's biggest records have had nothing to do with 50 cent. Dreams, My Life, One Blood, Wouldn't Get Far, Celebration (which was his fastest charting single btw)

Yes Hate it or Love it and How we Do were cuz of 50s help. And no that man did not give him a career, Dre did. Jimmy Iovine and dre put 50 in the equation to give Game exposure to the casual fans since G unit was buzzin.

Do ur googles
Without that touch game would've never got to where he's at now....Dre couldn't do anything for him
U delusional?? Dre couldn't do nothing for him?? If you knew anything u would know Dre is a producer which means he molds, builds and creates an artist. He's not a beatmaker like a Dj Mustard, there's a big difference. Look at how all the artists he's molded have had amazing careers cuz they went to the "dr dre school"

And Game has had a better musical career than 50, he's also more relevant today in music than 50.

Only reason that song got any views or play was cuz it had the biggest rapper on the planet in em and one of the biggest rock stars in adam levine

And i don't think Iovine has pushed any hip hop artist really for a long time. its been all about pop like gaga, etc

You were the lil 13 year old screaming G UNOT huh?

Dre was having trouble establishing game...that is a fact ...game would've ended up like every other artist under Dre not named eminem

Every other artist??

Snoop Dogg, Kendrick, 50 dont count??

And btw if u really followed Stat Quo's career u would see hes a partner with Game on his label, also has been credited as a co exec producer on Game's album and he is a ghostwriter/producer for tde, dre, etc

and again going back to ur original post about 50 being the reason Game is where he's at now, why isn't 50 relevant and been releasing consistently good music and Game has been. Looks like whatever wonderdust he gave to Game he should have kept for himself

I'm talking about around that time. Gave you more credit then I should've. I now know you're a waste of time.

a career is defined as only "around that time"

"where he's at now" ohhh u mean around that time..gotchu makes perfect sense.

since u contradicted yourself i guess i wasted my time since u already knew my point

^Not to compare they're standing, but Kendrick Lamar hasn't dropped an album in 2 years either. Game has been very consistent as far as making people anticipate his stuff. "My Life" had all those YouTube views, yet really translated to nothing. It was a huge top 40 single that came and went, and was a forced desperate attempt at reviving 50 musically. 50 may be very popular now still, but it really has nothing to do with music. The G-Unit reunion has much more appeal than simply another 50 album.

Only cali dudes anticipating for game

Foh with that ****

Hes washed just as much as fif

nah chill, that Bigger Than Me track he's released this year might be one of the better tracks of 2014. i don't think he gets the credit he deserves. have we forgot Game is the last dude before Kendrick that went mult-platinum before Snoop & Pac. he put the West back on the map. and i'm from NY saying this, Game is better.

I actually liked Jesus peice
Played it a lot
Album got great reviews, so....
